Altered Carbon S1E2: “Fallen Angel” (part 3)
Oh god what has Ortega been doing to this corpse she stole holy fuck why.

Altered Carbon S1E2: “Fallen Angel” (continued)
He's one of the good slumming meths. When he kills one of his favorite hookers, he always buys them a brand shiny new sleeve, often younger, healthier, and hotter than the body they had before.
"Whenever" he kills one.

Altered Carbon S1E2: “Fallen Angel”
It turns out that Laurens Bancroft is...well, exactly as popular as you'd expect.

Altered Carbon S1E1: “Out of the Past” (continued unto the conclusion)
Raven is the best. I really hope that Kovacs stays in that hotel in the semi-long term, so that Raven isn't just a one episode wonder. Hell, I want Raven to be the Cortana to Kovacs' Master Chief and play adjutant/dispatch for him over neural commlink. It's not like that would be much sillier than the baseline for this show. Yeah, I'll say it: I fucking ship it.

Altered Carbon S1E1: “Out of the Past” (continued)
Kovacs is so much better written than any of the other characters that he actually feels out of place in this show.

Altered Carbon S1E1: “Out of the Past”
Industrial commodification of human minds and bodies. It's almost like this is cyberpunk or something.

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood S2E35: “He Who Would Swallow God” (part 2)
Fullmetal Alchemist generally does a good job of managing to be both a cerebral philosophical journey AND a dumb punchy-man shounen series at the same time. Sometimes it leans more heavily in one direction, sometimes in the other. Occasionally, the two things that it's trying to be come into conflict, to the story's detriment.

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood S2E35: “He Who Would Swallow God” (part 1)
Pretty sure he already did swallow God, unless the visuals at the end of the previous episode were misleading.

Bakemonogatari E9: “Nadeko Snake, part 1”
You know what someone should do? Do an extensive edit of this show, excising all the pedo shit, as much as possible of the harem shit, and stitching what's left together into some new starting and stopping points for episodes. Release this new cut under a title like "Bakemonogatari, But For Human Beings." It would be a good show. I'd watch it.

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood S2E34: “Eye of Heaven, Gateway of Earth”
For all that it hates humanity for creating it, how much more must it loathe its original self? For every second of every minute of every day, for nearly five hundred years, it's known that someone else has what it's lost.

RWBY S6E7: "The Grimm Reaper"
There was ONE point, at the end of "The Coming Storm," where I actually wanted to watch the next episode for its own sake. Where I'd managed to regain some scrap of the investment and goodwill that I first started the series with back in 2017, and was interested to see what would happen next. But, it was short lived.

RWBY S6E6: “Alone In the Woods” (continued)
...the title of the episode is a knock-off of "Alone in the Dark," isn't it? Only without even making sense, because no one is alone in this episode. Just cram in another reference no matter how inappropriate it is. Goddamnit.

RWBY S6E6: “Alone In the Woods”
I was wrong. Completely wrong. Ignore everything I said back there. Never do this.

RWBY S6E5: “The Coming Storm”
It's just bizarre to me that the writers are dogwhistling a romantic arc. I can't even say if I like it or dislike it. It's just too fucking weird for me to assess.

Bakemonogatari E7: “Suruga Monkey, part 2”
We're going to be doing a proper exorcism this time, and it's going to be a rough one.

Bakemonogatari E6: “Suruga Monkey, part 1” (continued)
Well, I mean. Araragi is also a child molester, so it's shit regardless. This is all academic.
