The reason *why* I've been wanting to do a pro bono review of this game for so long is because, to put it simply, Ghost Song might have the best writing of any video game I have ever played.

I can enjoy "fever dream" media. These Nanami episodes are like actually having a fever; you have the whacky hallucinatory experience, but you're also coughing, shivering, and sick to your stomach.

Do two out of three, if not more, Sherlock Holmes adaptations get this wrong? Yes.

Between this and the backstory about Meti and her disciples, this book really is taking a critical look at teachers in general. Which I guess is fitting for the general ethos of K6BD but damn, it's just going really, really hard on this.
