Oh My Goddess! S2E2: "The Beleaguered Queen of Vengeance"
I just realized that what I'm basically trying to say is that Belldandy, uniquely within this series, is written as an actual god. The issue is, ironically, the exact opposite of what the very humanized Skuld and Urd claim it is.
Oh My Goddess! S1E11: "Heatvision and Urd"
I've seen this joke in supernatural comedies before, but Marller is a really well done and amusingly animated example.
Oh My Goddess (2005) S1E1-4
There's a great story in here about luck, fortune, and agency. It being bound at the hip to "submissive magic girlfriend, wut do?" in this particular way is deeply unfortunate.
Oh My Goddess! E4-5: "Evergreen Holy Night" and "For the Love of Goddess"
I literally cannot make sense of this resolution.
Oh My Goddess! E3: "Burning Hearts on the Road"
You know, if it turns out that Belldandy just has an extreme submissive fetish that her sisters are weirded out by, and the only reason she's going through with all of this because it makes her wet, that would actually redeem this.
"Oh My Goddess!" E1 vis a vis "Verthandi in the Middle" Ch1
I'm going to be reviewing the first episode of the 1993 OVA, alongside the first chapter of a kinda-sorta fanfic written by ArlequineLunaire.
